Dear Jill,
Bill and I cannot begin to express our gratitude for all that you did for us creating the most perfect wedding. When I walked into the venue, I literally started to cry as everything was 100% how I imagined it.
Paige and Michael had pure joy on their faces, that's all us as parents can hope for. All of the time and energy you put into making sure everything was exactly as we imagined does not go unnoticed. All the emails back and forth (sorry way too many by me), phone calls to all the vendors, and text messages back and forth showed your absolute professionalism. I would recommend you to anyone anytime.
You are the best ever!! You were so awesome to work with and we are really going to miss you. I really hope our paths cross again in the future.

Working with Jill was the best decision we could have made in planning our wedding! We had already found our venue (the Ritz Carlton Bacara) and we knew we wanted a full service planner. Picking Jill was easy - as easy as it was to talk to her, get to know her, and realize she was the perfect person to handle all the questions and details and stress of the process. We didn't necessarily have the strongest vision for our wedding other than wanting to prioritize our guests' experience and keep the aesthetic minimal but meaningful and elegant, so Jill made for the perfect collaborator. Without ever overwhelming us, she found vendors who worked within our budget and growing vision for the wedding day. During the planning process I had more questions and changes about anything that could possibly come up, and Jill was not only patient but superbly organized and quick to respond. She never left a doubt in my naturally very indecisive mind that whatever we would end up choosing would be just right for us. When the day came, it was absolute bliss to hand over the reins and live completely in the moment. As someone who tends to overthink or worry about how everyone else is doing, having Jill allowed me to remain present the entire time. On top of mastering the orchestration of the day, she was equally as present and encouraging every step of the way. Without a doubt, feeling at ease that a professional is in charge is one thing, but feeling like you also have a dear friend by your side as happy as you are is indescribable. Of course, any hiccups of the day were small and hardly noticeable.
The foundation for which Jill builds up your confidence in the success and happiness of your wedding day is through months of patience, positivity, attention to detail/bigger picture, a highly honed skill set, and trust. Her expertise is not to be missed for any event planning opportunity. We could not recommend her more!

Jill was such a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, Jill was patient, helpful, accessible and organized. We had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID, and without Jill, I don't know what we would have done! Jill was the planner for our destination in wedding in Maui. We hired Jill as we trust her amazing taste in styling, and she absolutely delivered! Although it is harder to communicate as we live in Asia and being in different timezone than Jill, we found it no problem at all in the end and Jill was very capable of sourcing us the best vendors for our event. She also came in to Maui and introduced the vendors to us in person and walked us through the venue when we were on the island couple months before our wedding, which gave us the all important peace of mind. She is professional and very experienced, on the day of she had made the flow of our wedding to be absolutely perfect and smooth. Jill was such a delight to work with. We would highly recommend her.

Having been in the wedding industry for more than 15 years, it’s assumed that bride-to-be Jen would have had her whole day mapped out. Having been in the wedding and special events business for upwards of 15 years you would think this bride had her ideal day mapped out and “pinned” to the most minute detail. Nope. I was a lost little bird who had to be bullied to pin things and ended up leaning on close friends in the wedding industry to pick linens, figure out my florals and other touches that added to the day. The only things I knew that I needed and wasn’t willing to compromise on were having a coordinator and photographer that I knew and loved since these are the folks that make the day happen and document all of the details.
Given our busy work and life schedules we knew we weren’t going to be able to make it to the island for any site planning, tastings or any of the other “normal” pre-wedding meetings that typically happen when you plan a year in advance. Fortunately we had access to a wedding and event planner that was not only intimately involved with weddings all over the island, but also happened to be a close trusted friend who “got” us. Jill LaFleur of LaFleur weddings was instrumental in matching us with the right vendors and orchestrating the wedding day so that I didn’t ever feel like I had to lift a finger.

If you are not hiring Jill to be your wedding planner then what the heck are you doing?
I found Jill via The Knot (duh) and to such glowing reviews and pictures from her past weddings she has planned. I knew she needed to be our day of planner and also our ultimate resource for vendors in Santa Barbara. Meeting with her was essential and key because we wanted her to see who we were as a couple and how we were envisioning our wedding day.
From meeting her in October to the actual day, she was so transparent and accessible via email (which I prefer when it comes to communication) and text leading up to the day. I did follow the checklist from the Knot and she wanted to make sure she was in the loop when it came to our vendor choices because in the end, she corralled all of the vendors together, created the most extensive day of timeline (btw, my photographer was super impressed with) down to the very little details.
She was there when I was in panic mode but with her guidance and her expertise, I knew I was in great hands. I wanted it to be a local Santa Barbara wedding, with local vendors, local flowers, and a full female force of women who were going to make this happen. I felt so empowered during our wedding day and the response and feedback I got from our guests left me speechless. To say that my wedding was one of the most fun and beautiful weddings they've ever seen, it's all because of Jill.
My advice to the brides out there, please trust your planners and trust your vendors -- especially Jill. I knew she was the expert and has seen it all. The only thing I requested from her was not to know the big mistakes and just to let me be like Dory from Finding Nemo. I think our relationship was fantastic because I did not demand or go bride-zilla on her or anyone I worked with. Treat people with love, respect and kindness, you will get the best wedding ever.

My dad specifically keeps mentioning how thoughtful you were to suggest that parents sit on the side so they could have a better view of me during the ceremony - a perfect touch that only a true pro wedding planner would know.
