With over 25 years of hospitality management and design experience, Jill La Fleur, Founder & Creative Director for La Fleur Weddings & Events, has set the stage as a premier innovator and trendsetter in the industry. With a career starting at the Four Seasons Chicago taking her to beautiful Santa Barbara, CA, she has been running her successful wedding and event production business for over 17 years working at some of the most exclusive properties and with some of the best vendors around the world, specializing in curating and designing lavish destination weddings & events. Most recently, she was recognized by Martha Stewart Weddings as one of the top wedding planners in the world, was nominated in the top 3 Wedding Planners in the World at Amour Forums Vienna in 2018, and one of her designed weddings was awarded as the Top Wedding of 2016 by Style Me Pretty. She is best known for her calm demeanor, her sense of style and grace even in the most stressful of situations as well as her ability to personalize and make every wedding & event special and unforgettable handling every detail and pulling them all together in a unique, incredibly beautiful way!

On a personal note, Jill is recently married to the love of her life, Gokhan Filiz. Coming from a hospitality background as well, he serves as her Assistant Events Manager at many of her events.

She loves to travel and her passion is planning weddings in new, beautiful destinations around the world! She and Gokhan recently purchased a boutique Chateau (Chateau de La Fleur) on the Aegean Coast of Turkey in the charming town of Alacati which is available as an Airbnb. They are so excited to be planning weddings and events there, on the adjacent Greek islands, as well as throughout Europe now more often!  

The favorite part of their job is having the opportunity to be a part of the most special day of a couple's life!

Lead Event Manager

Dina brings with her over 20 years of experience in event planning and hospitality. She started in the hotel industry in Ojai, California working in the boutique inn her parents managed. She fell in love with the business. Higher education led her to the University of California, Santa Barbara where she received her degree in Communication and a position as the Sales & Catering Manager at the now Hyatt Resort. Dina continued to hone her excellent customer service skills and learned the inner workings of the hotel industry, banquets, and catering. These skills proved invaluable when she started her professional career in event planning and entrepreneurship; coordinating corporate events, fundraisers, and weddings. Jill and Dina met each other while worked together in the hotel industry, and Jill even served as Dina's planner for her own wedding. Dina joined La Fleur Weddings & Events in 2004 and and brings with her superb organizational skills, fabulous service, and the desire to make every event a smashing success.
