We unbearably excited to share with you this lovely film by Joel Serrato Films. Of course, it is breathtaking beautiful and filled with all the glamour one would expect from an 8mm wedding film. Anna and Robert loved everything vintage and had their hearts set on having a vintage-themed wedding.

Anna and Robert loved everything vintage and had their hearts set on having a vintage-themed wedding. We wanted a lavish yet traditional feel at the church, a festive yet elegant feeling at the cocktail hour and then almost a supper-club feeling at the reception. We created this by incorporating beautiful, rich floral, luxurious dupioni silk fabrics, vintage china, old photos (including a vintage photo booth), an old writing desk as the sign in table with the couple’s silhouette coffee table book as their sign-in book, silhouettes of the couple on the backs of their chairs, a true Louisiana-style jazz band, and of course a tandem bicycle! I especially loved the addition of black chairs and elements to the table mixed with silvers to give the room a dramatic feeling mixed with the bride’s colors of eggplant, deep purples, champagnes and creamy tones.
The dessert table was my favorite! A combination of the bride’s family’s cake stands (all milk glass) filled the table with a variety of bite-sized desserts. The cut-glass Anthropologie lanterns overhead gave it a romantic, elegant feel. The bride & groom also brought in old photos from their parents and grandparents weddings and displayed them around the room.
The sound of the sax filled the room while guests sipped champagne and mingled in a more relaxed cocktail reception environment, turning the Biltmore event space back in time to feel like an old jazz club.  Mar did an amazing job giving the bride a true vintage style with her pin curls and subtle makeup. We loved working with this couple and coming up with fun vintage-themed designs. They were open to creative ideas and had a true sense of the vintage-era style about them that really pulled through into their wedding day! And Jose and Joel’s use of film captured it perfectly!
