Last month I styled Jose Villa’s Workshop in Mexico at the incredibly beautiful Hacienda el Carmen. I look forward to this workshop every year! There is always such an amazing group of talented photographers (and this year was certainly no exception!) & vendors who come together to create an experience through coaching, sharing, & always inspirational things to shoot from the local vendors in town to the other many details I got to help pull together ( which I will be sharing more of very soon!) Below is a post from Erica O’brien who created our cake again this year. What an incredibly talented artist to take these inspirations that I sent to her from Kate of Flowerwild & me to create such a perfect, beautiful cake design!
From Erica’s Blog:
What kind of cake do you create when Jill La Fleur send you these inspiration boards for the Jose Villa Mexico Workshop?

You create a cake with fondant billy balls, gumpaste butterflies, and hand-crafted sugar succulents.
And if you’re really lucky, the team from Branco Prata takes the photos.
